Arthur Potts Dawson

We’re really pleased to be working with green chef and social entrepreneur, Arthur Potts Dawson, at the Real Food Festival this weekend.

Arthur was the force behind ‘The People’s Supermarket’ which you might have seen on Channel 4 earlier this year. He’s also launched two restaurants which put sustainability to the fore: Acorn House and the Water House. We both share a common belief that the best energy is like the best food – local, homegrown and low carbon.

Arthur will be giving a sneak preview of his exclusive recipes specially created for Good Energy’s 'Low-carbon kitchen' guide, available in June.  The guide will contain tips for minimising energy use in your choice of food and in the kitchen with some mouth-watering seasonal recipe ideas.

Arthur's demonstration takes place in the Pride of Place kitchen, 3pm at the Real Food Festival in Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre on Saturday 7th May.  If you’re going to the festival, don’t miss it.   And come and visit the Good Energy team on stand 99 to hear more about us, our generators and our vision for a 100% renewable future.  There’ll be some delicious foodie freebies from our partners to collect when you do our 'carbon challenge' – and the chance to win a year’s free electricity. Hope to see you there.

To celebrate Festival week we’re giving a bottle of Biodynamic Champagne from Good Energy customer Vintage Roots, the organic wine people, to everyone who switches to our 100% renewable electricity between Friday April 29th and Sunday May 8th. Together we do this.
