Tagore Festival is a packed week of arts, music, culture and nature, based in the beautiful surroundings of Dartington Hall in Devon. Juliet Davenport, Good Energy’s CEO and founder is taking part in the festival, along with over 100 other innovators, poets, authors, artists, musicians, activists, and philosophers from around the globe.
Juliet is participating in a workshop: ‘Local Innovations and International Solutions’ from 12 noon on Friday 6th May joining a panel of local innovators and inventors discussing their work. They include Peter Redstone who co-founded the UK’s first organic ice cream company, Rupert Sweet-Escott, founder of Smart Power and Nick Paget, CEO of Tradewind Turbines.
This broad ranging festival draws together a rich mix of speakers from ecological, economical and political fields to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the poet Rabindranath Tagore, who received the Nobel Prize in 1913, for his book of poems Gitanjali. The festival also celebrates working together towards greater sustainability and inspiring creative green living.
