My world!
This is what the new turbines at our wind farm in Delabole, North Cornwall mean to local pupil Holly Lambert, the winner of our poetry competition.
In December we invited pupils to describe the new additions to their horizon. We were really impressed with their creativity and our CEO Juliet Davenport was delighted to present Holly, and runner up Terri Rowe, with their prize vouchers for the Good Energy Shop.
Deputy Headmaster James spoke to Holly about the experience.
How did it feel to win the poetry competition?
Amazing!
What did you use your prize voucher for?
An electric blanket. It’s really warm and I sleep really well under it.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
My English Teacher Polly who really helps me to learn, and my Mum who came to the show to watch me.
And here’s the poem from runner up, Terri Rowe.
