Anyone who has recently been near our wind farm in Delabole, North Cornwall will have noticed some big changes: all the old turbines are now down and the site is ready to welcome the four new ones.

The new turbines began arriving from Germany on the 14th September and will be put up over the following weeks. The Cornish weather really hasn’t let up this summer and this week - much like last month when the old turbines were being decommissioned - fog and cloud descended on Delabole. Good Energy’s Generation Team was on site to oversee the arrival of the new turbines, as well as CEO Juliet Davenport, and Garry, Good Energy’s Financial Director. At some points though, even the huge yellow cranes weren’t visible. The team is looking forward to the skies clearing so they can watch the new turbines go up, and anyone interested will again be welcome to come and have a look at the site, just let us know in advance as being a construction site, strict health and safety measures apply. We will let you know as soon as we have some suitable dates. Watch this space!
