Back in October 2009, our CEO Juliet headed off to South London to visit a member of our community of over 1,000 pioneering renewable generators. Roots and Shoots, a Lambeth-based charity that trains young people in a range of environmental skills, has an array of solar PV panels generating clean, green electricity on Good Energy’s SmartGen scheme. Juliet was there to introduce a Danish journalist, Lone Theils, to the team at Roots and Shoots and talk about her work to support independent renewable generation in the UK.
