So this is it. The last international meeting in the build up to Copenhagen is over. In two months the real thing begins. Apologies for not reporting straight after the event in Bangkok, but it was just too depressing. We needed time for therapy.

What happened? Nothing. The US probably won’t be ready, China and 130 other developing nations are accusing rich countries of sabotaging the deal, the UN have all but given up hope, Denmark’s chief climate negotiator has resigned, and to top it off, the Saudi’s will only cooperate on the basis of financial assistance if we are to reduce our oil consumption! Can you believe that?
