Following the roaring success of Earth Hour this year comes Earth Day (one better really… we are looking forward to Earth Year, and then Earth Life!). On Thursday April 22nd Earth Day will launch the Green Generation Campaign with a host of environmentally friendly events, education programmes and resources. The Green Generation Campaign is a two year drive to initiate a global green movement through a new generation ready to take up the challenges of climate change. In a similar vein to “The Greatest Generation” that rose to the confrontations of the Second World War, the campaign hopes to inspire new energy into the people of the world.

Ok, it isn’t quite as flashy as the Earth Hour, but the cause is no less worthy, so lets get behind it.

The majority of the action is happening across the pond, but our CEO Juliet will be doing a live interview about Earth Day in CNN’s flagship business programme at 2 pm UK time on Wednesday 22nd , so tune in.
