One of the opposing arguments to wind turbines (that we’ve had a few angry letters about) is that they kill birds and disturb migratory patterns. Us wind lovers now have a trump card.

In move that has surprised many, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has made a call for more wind turbines to be built in the UK. Recognising the threat that climate change presents to birds, particularly rare and endangered species, the RSPB has declared that wind turbines are a solution rather than a problem.
