Good Energy just got even better energy
RSS Feed
We are pleased to announce that as of the 31st January 2009 we will be reducing our electricity and gas prices by 7.5%. For an average Good Energy customer, this will amount to a saving of between £50 and £100 per year.
On the matter, our CEO Juliet said “Good Energy is committed to ensuring that its customers receive the best value possible for their renewable power supply. Good Energy is due to start paying less for its renewable power in 2009 and we want our customers to benefit from this.”
The price of renewable energy is unfortunately affected by rising and falling oil and gas prices in the UK, and so our prices are to an extent at the mercy of the market. But we are working hard at minimizing the cost for our customers – we are increasing direct relationships with over 500 independent renewable energy generators, as well as repowering our own wind farm in Delabole, Cornwall. The more power output this has, the more stable our prices can be.
If you haven't already switched your electricity supply to Good Energy, you can do so here – it’s really easy.
