We work with wind, wave, hydro, solar and bio-energy generators of all shapes and sizes, paying them for the energy they produce, even if it's just a small solar panel on a roof. 

Over the years we have been encouraging more and more people to start generating their own renewable electricity, and have devised some award winning schemes to help. Like our Home Gen scheme that pays people for generating at home, even if they use the electricity themselves! Sounds slightly counter intuitive we know but that's how we like to do things (It has been pointed out that we have some unconventional business practices, like encouraging our customers to use less energy - so less profit to us. Alan Sugar may not approve but all in a good cause you see...)

Our latest brainwave, which we are very excited about is Good Energy HotROCs. This scheme is the UK’s first Renewable Heat Incentive that pays domestic solar generators money for the heat energy they produce - i.e. if you use solar panels to heat your water. But we'll blog on this later.
