Our founder and CEO Juliet Davenport set up Good Energy because of a determined desire to tackle climate change. She wanted to offer consumers the opportunity to make a better choice about where they bought their electricity – from an electricity supplier dedicated to growing renewable energy generation in the UK.
We’re committed to running our business responsibly, and ensuring it has a positive impact on our employees, our customers and our planet is a key part of achieving our aim of building a renewable energy future. It has informed every decision we have made from the very beginning.
Proud of our strong sense of identity and ethical commitment, and determined to be as transparent as possible with our activities, we produce a values report every year to provide a summary of our performance in relation to the environment and our stakeholders. Most importantly, it incorporates an independent verification report to ensure that our claims about the 100% renewable electricity that we supply are completely true.
From the pens we write with to the way we buy our energy, our values are woven into every aspect of what Good Energy is and does. And not the type to rest on our laurels, we aspire to improve our environmental performance year on year.
