Founded in 1999 in response to climate change, our purpose has always been to empower individuals, businesses and communities to make a difference through their energy supply.
Our core business is trading 100% renewable electricity; we now have 28,000 customers and source power from a growing community of over 35,000 independent renewable generators. We recently repowered our wind farm in Delabole, Cornwall which now generates enough electricity to supply around 20% of our customers. This is the first in a pipeline of developments we've got planned over the next five years. We're hoping to add a further 50MW - that's enough wind to power all the homes in a city about the size of Cambridge.
