We have evolved our award-winning HomeGen scheme to bring FiT to the UK’s microgenerators. When you choose our award winning scheme we can guide you and deliver the assistance you need to register for the Feed-in tariff. Once your generator has been certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and we have registered you successfully with Ofgem (the industry regulator), we will claim the Feed-in Tariff you are entitled to and pay it to you.

You  are entitles to a sum for every unit of electricity you generate, even if you use it on site, and a sum for the units that you are ‘deemed’ to export. Look at the table below to see the levels of payment we offer.

Receiving your FiT payments

Good Energy will send you a request to submit a total generation meter reading. Once we have received your meter reading we can begin to process your payment. This may take up to 45 days due to the current FiT systems, but we hope to have to payment with you earlier if possible.  If you have an export meter we may require meter readings more frequently. If this is the case, we will explain in greater detail.
