Good Energy, the 100% renewable electricity supplier, is delighted to announce the appointment of Charles Rattan as Senior Renewable Project Manager.
Charles will support Juliet Davenport, CEO of Good Energy with the repowering project at Good Energy’s wind farm in Delabole, Cornwall. Repowering this asset will take annual electricity output from 10,000 MWh to approximately 25,000 MWh. Charles will also be responsible for managing a potential pipeline of new wind farm projects.
Before joining Good Energy, Charles was a Project Developer at E.ON in the Climate and Renewables department where he took wind farms with a total output of more than 150MW through the planning process, including the largest onshore site in England. Before this, Charles worked at Coronation Power as a Community Relations Manager where he helped take three wind farm sites through the development process and to planning submission. Charles is also a founding member of the Wind Practitioners’ Network, a regional organisation which shares best practice.
Juliet Davenport, CEO and Founder at Good Energy said: “We are very pleased that Charles is joining the team at Good Energy. He is an experienced and knowledgeable wind farm developer. His expertise in this field will be a great asset to us as we move forward with the repowering of Delabole and beyond.”
Charles Rattan said: “Good Energy is a pioneering company and a recognised authority within the renewable energy sector. It is a complete package offering end‐to‐end renewable energy solutions, from domestic electricity supply to large scale renewable power generation. I look forward to working with Juliet Davenport and the Good Energy team to continue our shared passion to grow renewables in the UK.”
